The original Klingon of course

The King James Tiberius Kirk Version is a better translation than most. Even keeps the line about beating bat’leths into ploughshares with the original context to show it as a shameful act.

It’s not that you misquoted a line or something like that. The dictionary quote is an extremely well known saying that originated in the Bible. Zapp’s line in futurama is literally parodying that saying. By thinking the dictionary is in any way referencing the Futurama scene, you have revealed that you didn’t even get the joke in the first place.

I’d say it’s fairly clear Matthew was just a time traveling Futurama fan and hypnotoad had it right all along.

It’s also not dictionary.com. It’s very clearly Merriam-Webster. OP got nothing correct.
