It’s cute and surprisingly well built, but at that size it is more of a novelty. If you stick to simple games and you’ve got smaller fingers it’s maybe viable for “5 minutes at the bus stop” type situations.
If anyone is looking at this and wishing there was something even smaller, have a look at the Thumby, the true handheld for ants.

That Thumby thing seems interesting but holy hell… How am I supposed to play that? I Guess it’s a great birthday present for a pet ant indeed.
I was a Kickstarter backer for the Thumby, I have fairly small hands and even I struggle to play it!
It’s a very fun keyring though, and an interesting novelty for a lifelong Game Boy fan.
