Isn’t this how Walmart failed in Germany?

Basically the “roadmap to success” used in other countries failed in Germany/Europe mostly because that “success” was only achievable through “human rights abuses” and “violating labor laws” that aren’t troublesome in parts of the world where labour rights are neutered at every opportunity, and large portions of the population people are too impoverished to afford necessities elsewhere

Exactly what I was thinking, this pupper was 100% chalked

I just got a blue ray of samurai champloo - mostly because I’m sick of media in general cycling through multiple streaming services only to become unavailable.

The SC blue ray came with a digital copy from funimation (now crunchyroll). I saw online that it’s basically a scam that doesn’t work so to see for myself I created a paid account to hopefully get access to the digital download.

I found out it was unsupported, and at best it would only be available online and with an account - no opportunity for actual download/ownership.

So I immediately cancelled subscription and had them fully delete my account. I figured complaining about their shit policy by cancelling a paid service and fully deleting an account would hit some metrics at least.

When there’s a show/movie I really enjoy, I either buy physical, or torrent so I actually have it. Only some things on the internet are forever, and with the volume of content being created, “permanent” is now often only for a few months before it becomes nearly impossible to find again.

Yaris gang rise up!

Want to trade my 09 in for a more recent model, hatchback would be ideal

Are you suggesting that anything about the internet hasn’t reduced attention spans?

Especially as it’s becoming more accessible and common for younger people to get more exposure during key points in brain development.

It goes beyond simple accessibility and engagement, if young people are not participating in these social medias it can become harder to connect with your peers - so you’re almost socially punished for not embracing and participating in brain rot (all social media, not just Tik Tok).

Why is it that I immediately assume at least a sizable amount of chatbots on threads were either created, directed, or funded by Elon and his financiers.

Of course there are going to be chat bots swarming any social media/platform with enough real participants, but it’s not like Meta is new to social media and I would assume Meta has sophisticated detection systems available to them for exactly this type of thing (and probably has their own chatbots and a bot whitelist)

Maybe the chatbot AI revolution will make social media unusable.

Either way, I would be shocked if chatbots could exist on either platform in a meaningful way if Meta/Twitter actually put reasonable efforts into ensuring all content was generated and shared by real people.

I’m saying this without a clue how anything actually works, don’t take my crackpot theories too seriously

Ive had some success using phind but I’m pretty sure this is just another way of using chat GPT without an account.

Either way, before the migration I found Google useless for anything but searching for stuff on Reddit, or answering questions about video games.

Good luck going to Google these days without already knowing the answer to your question.
