So, could users just ignore that and just buy an anti-virus product or use 0patch? If it’s like Widows 8, most apps will still be updated for a few years.

  • Looks over at Ender 3

Hehe, by the time it finished printing something that size, I might have expired of natural causes!

Tubular :)

Had to jump into the ‘name your alternative’ thread hehe.

Tubular because it includes SponsorBlock.

Whatever you get, avoid running it at 100% brightness. This will likely extend its lifespan.

Not sure what I got blocked from. Might poke around later and see. Guess I upset a bot by using a colon or something.

Downloaded it. Signed up. Replied to a post about rechargeable batteries. Account got restricted. Left.

Don’t run them at full brightness and you should be ok.

Used to run it on my z80 back in the day, before moving on to WordPerfect 5.1.

Hehe. Ok. Add an inverter and an electric blaket under the seat cover :)

Hehe. I’ve just got a Sony Bluetooth speaker sitting on the dash. For poddies it’s good enough.

Sounds good, but can you trust an OS partition not to store things in %programdata% etc that should be encrypted?

VLC, Open Capture Device would probably have worked. Or OBS if you wanted to get fancy.

No it’s just a typical smart socket and I’ve put my phone charger in it. (an old 1 amp charger so it is easier on the battery.) The 60% button turns the switch on for about three hours for example. (Phone has 5A battery.)

The charger is on from midday in case I forget to select a charging amount before sleeping.

You could do similar with an old fashioned rotary mechanical timer socket.

My phone doesn’t have this feature, so at bed time I just tap a button on a smart switch to give it roughly another 20-60% overnight.

Except for the task manager. Windows 8 to Windows 10 had a good one.

Express VPN for foreign free to air TV, ad blocking on multiple devices. 200gb Google Cloud storage. Vultr VPN for Wireguard.

I guess I’m the odd one out. I quite enjoy my Arlec / grid connect stuff for simple things that could be done with wires, timers and the like.

Tasks include: Controlling the aircon and a basic heater with Universal IR. Running ventilation fans to force air through the house when the missus opens a door for a smoke. Letting the goats out on schedule when they were young. Enabling different banks of batteries to run or charge for the inverter circuit by schedule or sunlight amount. Monitor power usage on the chargers and output to the inverter circuit. Charge the battery mower to 80% only, roughly. Charge my phone to 80% only, roughly. Power up the office lighting / TV / monitors / amp etc when I enter, off when I leave. Keep my dog cool at night but not too cold. (fan control)

Granted I’m not looking forward to the day that grid connect dies, but I belive I can convert to Tuya locally hosted if that happens.

None of these need a subscription.

Likewise my outdoor Reolink camera has free cloud storage but only if you renew it every month, which is a pain.

I first saw it on YouTube when a local TV station posted the raw video.

I wasn’t looking at any other media at the time.

In mine the torque converter clutch won’t lock until the transmission is warm. That takes a while in winter.

This could be useful as a communication medium where the car transmits data through the light to the neighbours.

There’s also no algorithm taking the most controversial answer and making it the top most comment ala Facebook.
