I really like the JBL speakers. The “Go” is pretty impressive for its size and price. But the “Charge” really rocks. Easily runs for a whole evening AND night with one charge and has great base.

The U.S. is pretty late with this, compared to the European Union. Only a few special bulbs are still sold here. Apart from that, the only allowed lighting technology is LED.

I have a few kbin communities subscribed from Lemmy and interaction works fine.

All the alternatives are advertised to be shipped with Windows only and so not interesting to me. Probably this is interesting for a lot of potential customers but I don’t want Windows on any device that I own.

That’s true. But even if the railway service in Germany would be improved a lot, I still have around 10 kilometers from my home to the next train station.

I actually want more technology in my car. Please make the fully autonomous driving car a reality. Would love to have the flexibility of a car without having to drive on my own.

More likely the end of desktop Windows. But I wouldn’t take my bet on it as Windows users often tend to accept everything Microsoft does, sooner or later.

Get one with a good panel and ignore the “Smart” part. Better use something like a Fire TV Stick.
