They figured out that this kind of feed makes the most money from the most users. They don’t care if you like it, they care what the majority of users will stick around for. The longer total scrolling time they can get from their user base, the more ads they can cram in there. Ads make money.
Algorithm leads to more scroll time per person leads to more ads per user leads to more income
So, because money
I use DAL-E 3 through the Bing Image Creator website. It’s free and happens to work well with the way I describe things.
For the full body picture, describe their shoes as well as their hat or hair. Or describe what they’re standing on and what they’re looking at.
Most of the time, DalE will take “do not include thing” to mean “do not include thing.” Sometimes starting from Bing chat and asking for it to draw a picture not including a thing works better.
I bought an ecoflow some time ago, I’m constantly impressed with what it can run. Its primarily a backup source of power for my freezer in case of a power outage, but I make sure to pull it out of the closet and use it every 6 months or so to keep it functional.
It’s slightly over 1kwh of energy storage, and it really helps me understand what a kwh means. It runs a laptop for a week. It runs a lamp with an LED bulb for more than a week. It runs a vacuum for barely 1 hour. It runs a toaster oven, but only on lower settings. It runs a microwave for right at an hour.
The display on the side that shows output and how many hours it can maintain that output has been very useful to learn more about these things without having to leave things running until the battery dies.
I definitely recommend the Lifepo4 batteries. Not exploding is worth losing a few watt-hours of storage in the same size and weight, and longevity with more cycles is great, too!
Do it!
Anyone involved in getting packages to my door in an unbelievably short time deserves to get paid a living wage without relying on overtime. And they should have enough breaks to catch their breath and use and actual restroom instead of using bottles.
