What use is an immutable system, if it doesn’t already have the data on it that an attacker can steal?

I’ve had no lucky with my 7 digit exports and can’t find anywhere to reset them, but it seems these services only use authy for totp.

For my 6 digit ones I was able to export them all and move apps with this guide

https://gist.github.com/gboudreau/94bb0c11a6209c82418d01a59d958c93

There’s also a YouTube video here:

One issue I had was authy kept trying to auto update from the old version any time I was in the setup process and it would cease to function, forcing me to restart it, and then it was updated.

All I did was go to the appdata folder in windows where it was installed and I found different folders for the specific version and I just opened a terminal there and ran it with the argument defined in the guide and it worked fine.

Does it have a desktop app and mobile app?

Edit: must be a typo I can’t find this app

I couldn’t care less about 120Hz when my privacy is at stake. Even if chrome has per tab isolation, I’m sure Google’s got its mittens in there somewhere.

A second load time difference, meh. Not a big deal to me. Same with materialU

I’ll get excited when the best available card comes back down to 600 CAD. Probably never gonna happen

Now it’s ads and garbage all over the screen. Even at that I think ps3 xmb was my favorite console os

Also they probably value having a job and it isn’t always so easy to just get a new one. When you weigh all that against some people on the Internet not happy with their video game they don’t need to play, it’s a pretty ridiculous comment lol

Ya the problem I landed in was not anticipating how hard it would be to push my new monitor. Ultra wide 2.5k resolution with 144Hz. I can’t do cyberpunk full res more than 60fps, and that’s with dlss enabled and not all settings at max.

2070s

Still use it from time to time haha. I’m old, recently discovered how much discord has taken over as a forum/chat/irc sort of replacement.

I use this and it’s hooked into my nextcloud. Good to go.

True, whenever I see “social media” brought up though I’m always picturing Facebook, Twitter, Myspace. This and reddit and forums definitely are a form of though. Even bbs back in the day.

I tend to divide them based on how much they want to manipulate and sell me shit. Also how much of my personal info they require.

It’s a race for external validation and bragging and painting a false image of your life, and for you to keep in touch with anyone you ever met that you never will keep in touch with. If you take a few steps back you see how truly useless it is, unless, of course, you’re meta or Microsoft or whoever is just siphoning all your valuable data and selling you shit that you don’t need by manipulating you.

It’s kinda scary that cars are no different now than software these days with all this “agile development”

Code it. “it’s stable!”. Don’t do much testing. Bug reports come in. Fix.

All sounds like beta software to me. Just what I want to put my life in the hands of.

I have a ryzen 3800X and an x570 motherboard. It was one of the best motherboards at the time. No TPM support. You’re wrong.

I am hoping for this but unless Microsoft puts a banner on 10 saying you should switch because x,y,z I don’t see it happening for a majority because a lot of people probably don’t even know how to install windows from scratch.

Ok so if you built a computer in like 2019 or 2020 it’s only 4-5 years old. This was before windows 11 came out. 4-5 years is not that old for a computer, especially if you built a good one.

Curious what you’re using. Ms office kinda sucked but LibreOffice works incredibly well, and Adobe products last I tried (years ago) sucked. But gimp and DaVinci resolve work great. Most of my games run absolutely fine. For everything else you just need a web browser and those have worked great always.

Why cheap, why separate? Just use your current one and slap in another disk. I’ve been doing it for decades. Many games run surprisingly well in Linux, sometimes even better than windows

Why wouldn’t you touch it? You WANT this. TRUST US!

-GM, probably

Whaaaaat?! No way! I don’t believe it!

(…/s for those that need it)

Link is dead

Edit: it’s my lists or zenarmor.

I ain’t paying a one time or subscription to get fucking blue or green bubbles. Hell with that.

This user to be Ubuntu. I think I see probably something like SteamOS maybe being a standard in the future since many who stay on windows are doing so for gaming reasons, and that’s the best prebuilt distribution for gaming.

I disagree. Our lives are all subscriptions now and you own nothing. I will avoid any subscription if possible

I guess I should be working on breaking the DRM and backing up my audible books on a regular basis…

Incredible the downvotes you get. It’s true. Windows literally spies on you
