Well, it’s okay to boycott Russia for invading and occupying parts of Ukraine but god forbid you boycott Israel for invading and occupying the entirety of what we know as post 1967 Palestine.

It’s just now that antisemitism is in the spotlight in the news so of course these companies have to do some virtue signalling by “pausing” their spending. In a few weeks they’ll be back at spending money on that awful platform.
Corpos never provided any valuable research. They just take what publicly funded universities, institutes, and institutions publish and use that to build products then claim all the credits.
I mean, wasn’t it obvious this will happen? Most people that joined Threads did it because an Instagram popup told them to. Most of them weren’t even Twitter users in the first place. So why would Threads even stick to a user base that wasn’t even into microblogging in the first place?
I mean, if no normal citizen can access the outside internet then we will know for sure that any connection coming out of Russia has to be a bot. So that would make blocking them much more easier.
