Logitech’s desire to put AI in my IO devices is exactly why I am moving to a different manufacturer. I want solid hardware, not hardware as a service. HP also is trying this with printers and it’s total bullshit.
If I am paying a monthly fee, I’d better not also have to buy garbage hardware. That better be provided for free and replaced when it inevitably fails.
This article is confusing as fuck. How can you use 2022 dollars “adjusted” and then claim there’s no inflation. That’s literally what that adjustment is for, to normalize prices for inflation over time.
Also it jokes eggs aren’t crazy expensive but they’ve been up to comedy levels of pricey at least twice in 3 years due to avien flu.

Millennials have been losing platforms on the Internet for pretty much the whole history of the Internet. Just a handful of “social media” type services that have risen and fallen in my years of the internet: AOL Instant Message, ICQ, IRC, Usenet, LiveJournal, MySpace, on and on.
Most of these aren’t even properly “dead”, many I just.mentioned still have big user groups too. They just lost a critical user share when folks moved on.
Nice for you to live somewhere mild enough your car doesn’t need to pre-heat but some people live in Chicago and other places where it still snows and pre-heating the car is a must 3 months of the year.
