Fun fact: when you plug in one side of a male to male connector the other becomes hot, if you somehow manage to plug it in you WILL fuck up your electrical system
The argument is basically that Windows is the most popular operating system so it should be the best or be good quality and ignores the fact that Microsoft shoves Windows down peoples throats. They have no incentive to make Windows better because OEMs will ship it anyway (ex: Vista and Windows 8).
Microsoft is so incredibly desperate to stop people from installing Linux that they’ll do everything other than making a good operating system or anything else that matters
As much as I dislike Apple I hate Google and their stupid proprietary operating system. I wish actual mobile Linux distributions like Plasma Mobile or Ubuntu Touch were actually usable.
You could just use the earliest version of Windows that the software works (Windows 7 usually) and then keep the VM air gapped (aka no Internet connection)
Fun fact: Linux is so customizable that you can run a modern GUI and software on 46mb of ram and a CPU from 1989. Don’t let Microshit tell you to throw out your old PC, it’s truly surprising what’s possible.
