Enjoy, both OW and Tunic are up there in my favourite games. Return of the Obra Dinn is another good one, if you didn’t play it already.

Chasing after that same high, I bought the newest versions of Myst and Riven, never played the originals. Quite stumped in the first level of Myst. I feel like I may enjoy Riven more, but gonna try and stick with Myst first.

Just let him see your hentai games, say they’re “jokes” or something.

Holy shit this is amazing. This game used Games for Windows Live, it was horrendous already 15 years back. I played a shit ton of Flatout 2 as a kid, this one is essentially a better version of that one.

Not related to Steam Deck, but this caught my eye:

As soon as we thwarted their effort, they went around to 27 different developers and offered each one a payoff to undermine any effort we had to get their games onto our store exclusively. Activision and Riot and Supercell had direct distribution plans that they were planning on; Google paid them not to pursue those plans. Just direct blatant violations of anti-competition law, it’s crazy a company of Google’s scale would do that.

So Tim is stating that Google making exclusivity deals with applications developers is breaching laws and should be stopped, but Epic having exclusivity deals on their own stores is okay and not anti-competitive. Hypocrite much, eh?

Finally a new part for the Gate series. Previous titles include:

  • Steins;Gate
  • GATE: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri
  • Divine Gate

Wonder if this one will be a reboot /s

Played most of COCOON during a recent airplane round-trip. Also started Pocket Mirror, I got an RPG Maker fever after playing Corpse Party.

Sorry if you’ve seen these already, went down my list from the highest scores so most of these are fairly popular.

Dororo… in a way? It’s a story of one of the main characters trying to get his body parts back to become human.

Mob Psycho 100 kind of fits the bill, while self-improvement is not the focus, it’s the driver of the story and the motivation of the protagonist.

Inu-Oh - kind of a similar premise as Dororo, but in a movie form, and instead of slaying demons it revolves around becoming a human via music performance.

A recent one: Onii-chan wa Oshimai (OniMai) - the main character, a NEET, is turned into a younger aged girl and begins their journey to become a functioning member of society.

I finally got back to Tunic after a few months’ break. Ended up finding a page and an item I had missed, and then it was smooth sailing to the next (second?) boss, which I found to be a super fun fight.
