Don’t get too excited. They’re just doing it so it doesn’t get in the way of the Ai they’ll be putting on there.

You can save just about anything in bitwarden. I’m not 100% it will autofill addresses, as in you don’t have to click anything, however you can safe addresses and when you need it you can tell bitwarden to fill it in. I have all autofills turned off but my credit card info, billing, and shipping get filled in with a click.

You’re absolutely right, there’s no privacy online. But there are significantly better alternatives that offer end to end encryption and sometimes digital communication is required.

A teen in Nebraska was sentenced to 3 months in jail because Facebook turned over her “private” messages but sure, no real life problems with trusting meta with your “encrypted” messages.

I think it depends on the mobile device you use. I’ve read that proton is better on iPhone and bitwarden doesn’t integrate that well with it but it’s seamless on android. I also haven’t had any issues with bitwarden and Firefox and they’ve been my combo since I started using bitwarden a couple years ago. I haven’t given proton pass a full on try yet though and I pay both companies for their awesome services so I’m a bit of a shill for both. I don’t think you can make a bad choice here.

If blocking a website on government devices/networks is a violation of free speech why are you just now sounding the alarm? Why didn’t you sound the alarm when I wasn’t allowed to browse reddit on my government laptop? The government blocking access on personal devices/networks is a violation, blocking access on government networks/devices is business as usual.
