Konami has discussed the challenges of remaking Metal Gear Solid 1 compared to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, highlighting that the former would be significantly more difficult. This information was revealed in an interview with Famitsu, as shared by Genki on X/Twitter. The producers, Noriaki Okamura and Yuji Korekado, explained that remaking Metal Gear Solid 1 would require creating many new elements from scratch, particularly in terms of level design. In contrast, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 involved fewer changes and was more straightforward to update.https://Twitter.com/Genki_JPN/status/1841640650359656919

Actually, hijacking comments for a question; I’m thinking of playing MGS all the way through for the that time. Should I do PC version of PSX or emulated GameCube twin snakes version (or emulated PSX?).

RetroAchievements recently released an achievement set for the GameCube version, so all three check the metagaming box for me. Is Twin Snakes the best or is it lacking anything major?
