cable companies literally took a billion dollar grant to expand infrastructure and didnt do much of anything. This is literally doing something. F elon but the engineers who worked hard to make this a reality deserve better

which one would you recommend? some kind of “culling games” or castration? Would you like to go first?

I said solution, not one bed to rule them all lol

We need something that can scientifically determine a way to get people an affordable and comfortable bed that is not just go into a giant waste of space filled with random mattresses in hopes you find the right one and will likely just pick one that is “just good enough” after a minute or two from laying on it, When its use case is meant for laying on it for about 8 hours

yes health of your posture and spine is very important too

Bed stores are a problem. They sit there taking up space for what? To look pretty for people to try out different brands of bed because we like to not figure out a universal solution to the problem of making a comfortable healthy platform of material that we can lay upon for long term rest. On top of that, instead of supplying our nation with affordable housing and furniture, it is laughably ignored.

All these empty locations for these corporations to advertise products and “experiences”

Same situation, I have the bolt and volt cars and I drive about the same with the caveat that I coast more often to a stop and make full use of being plugged in at home for warming up or cooling down the car. Really, all you need to know about driving an ev or a hybrid. Everything else is just extra stuff to take care of and make better use of the dollar savings you get with an EV.

On the flipside, I know too many people who don’t care how hard they drive the accelerator and brakes that they would rather get a gas car because of how fast they consume and prioritize time spent fueling vs charging. Really, I save close to 2k/year more than those who drive semi efficiently, and about double that amount vs. the people who are economically irresponsible. Also, I meet a lot of tesla owners who do users using the tesla superchargers who are complaining about how garbage their battery life after 3 years of driving for Uber(20% of degradation). It makes sense why people don’t want to drive an EV. They just don’t want to slow their lives down. They want to constantly keep doing stuff and do it fast. It’s amazing how much instant gratification has made everyone’s lives worse. Even people like me who go slow have to deal with their BS.

Huh, if I went out to the corner and bought food and came back, it would take 20-30 minutes. Sometimes, the restaurant is busy, and I sit there knowing I will have to not eat it because I will just have to clock back in the second I get back. Sometimes, I have to explain why I was late. Why would I put myself through that and not just get someone to do it for me in advance.

Mildly valid for disabled or less fortunate individuals…

One other thing. I bought food for someone, and it is more attractive to receive it from the comfort of their home instead of being annoyed by traffic or getting dressed. How about those with a car that don’t want to deal with traffic? Ever hear of comfort, or are you one of those people who think no pain no gain hard-core lifestyles are the only way to live?

Some people’s don’t have cars? They want to stay and focus on their homework or chores or anything? How about those with 30 minute breaks who order and time it to land within their break time? How about those who are who are sick/disabled/less fortunate and unable to get to locations easily without extra effort?

picking between a turd sandwich and a giant douche, what a decision to make. Firefox all the way, nothing stinky happening in that direction, no need to just pick between the two because it will always be NEITHER

I’m actually alright with this, which seems to be an unpopular opinion. It seems totally sensible for them to ask why you don’t want to use Edge and would rather use Chrome.

I wish for Microsoft to mind their business when I download another browser. A web developer or someone excersizing their freedom of choice should not need to deal with petty and sorry looking surveys.

On the other hand, it is fine to ask how the browser experience is like but not this.

If we want to prevent monopolies, we need healthy competition. If Microsoft improves Edge based on this user feedback to create an actually good product, then we all win. It means that if Firefox starts to pull the shit that Google is doing, we have a solid alternative.

Unfortunately, this privacy invasive feature goes against this concept because it already made the browser worse. Also, Edge is chromium based. Mozilla, Apple’s Safari, and Chromium are the only true browser choices. Edge may bring some UX features, but they are data harvesting focused and not the core browser mechanisms. Microsoft is taking the work Google, and the chromium community puts into the code base and then running their own data harvesting UX on top. It is not a “alternative” browser choice, ever.

With Microsoft’s track record, this survey is not to improve the browser but to harvest more data to pinpoint your identity and behavior to sell to advertisers and data analysts. So the “manner” Microsoft does this is more of a reason for not wanting to have this.

I hear the ungoogled chromium is immune to the youtube antiadblock bs while getting rid of google’s influence, leaving you to be able to keep your Firefox identity safe without compromising your privacy by going to a browser you know is maintained by a community instead of another corporation

This sounds promising. Dustproof. I dont think waterproofing the air channel will be necessary. This can be used as a way to create a channel for air to pass through without compromising the waterproof seal for the phone internals. The air channel can be a pass through and offers a big benefit in cooling. If there is blockage or damaged fins(I think they are vibrating fins.), then the phone will get warm and automatically throttle. A repair will not be needed unless you want the full performance. I live in the hot desert, and active cooling would be a dream come true. Every high-end phone gets hot to the touch from using GPS or streaming outside.

Edit: Another note is that most people don’t beat up their phones with high-pressure water(dirty or clean). If that was the case, then the phones water seal would suffer or be compromised as they are water resistant to low pressure and may not seal against high pressure.

Thin and flat too!

How long would the return on cost savings take for it to pay itself off?

Hopefully, it will apply to anything with internet connectivity and your personal data.
