Major problem with this analogy is if you don’t have a cat or dog you won’t starve to death. These people are trying to hoard resources that are life supporting. They are hoarders, and should be treated as such. The public as a whole needs to have this view and turn our backs on them, just not give them that power or influence over our lives.
Also citizens united needs to be repealed. Corporations are not people.
They have a psychological problem. They are mentally unsound and need to be locked up. They are destroying lives just so they can win the game of capitalism and hold all the fake money, all the fake power. They want to be demigods, worshiped by the “lessers” at how wonderful and great they are because they are winning the game of capitalism.
And they are succeeding.
“Think of my unfortunate owner -er- I mean constituents that own broadband businesses. They have no money left from the last subsidy we gave them to make faster broadband (that they pocketed), to make that same broadband that they didn’t upgrade even cheaper for poor folks! How do we expect them to buy their second or third yachts by helping the poors?”
Not going to read the article, because it’s bull, the only way humanity gets there are for mentally impaired people like him stop hoarding wealth. I’m sure if we totaled up everything spent on yachts and gave it to nasa, or some other public space entity, I would be typing this in one of those tubes.
I guess this is supposed to be the 99.9%’s last sacrifice to our 0.1% overlords before the world boils away? “Many of you will die making my space tube, but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make. I also need 72 virgins for repopulation purposes.”
The global elite started realizing that the common human can communicate and organize on these platforms. Destabilize the platforms, you dismantle the means for the common human to fight against the propaganda machine the elites have put into place. They needed a dumb, rich person to burn it to the ground in exchange for entry into their little club.
This isn’t even low hanging fruit. This is fruit that’s been on the ground rotting for a few months that no one is going to pick up and eat anyway. Let’s throw ineffective solutions at the problem and when they fail go, “weeeeell, since you can buy a 3d printer and a gun online, let’s just do background checks for internet access”
Very good Joshua
