Someone is running a smear campaign on Firefox, and I don’t know why.

The tech doesn’t track you, it’s very clear on that but the misinformation about it keeps popping up everywhere.

I didn’t say great, just “has more than one redeeming quality”

I’m very aware of the Facebook shit list, that’s why I’m so shocked.

As a user, and great fan of the llama models….

I did not have “Zuckerberg saves us from ai” on my bingo card.

…… nor did I have “musk threatens and then pussies out from fighting Zuckerberg”

Or even “Zuckerberg becomes less despised as an individual”

Like…… have I switched timelines and universes?

It absolutely is.

Slack must have this for compliance issues, or they would be locked out of many industries (like banking and insurance)

It’s buck from ice age, now all he needs is an eye patch.

Going from “sim “ to “voip” means that your cell phone will only ever work when it’s on wifi. The reliability will drop significantly Your ability to get maps and things while on the road, in fact you won’t be able to receive or make phone calls/texts/anything while travelling at all (by bus, car or bike)

… just fyi

…. Won’t someone pleeeease think of the children!

Tale as old as time (yes I know your answer was /sarcastic)

Maybe, but guns are a very different problem.

A toddler won’t kill their sibling with this by accident.

Clearly criminals who steal cars will DEFINITELY listen to this new law banning their tools.

The problem is that they combined three different pieces of software into one cheaply.

So it’s big, clunky and doesn’t often work.

Apparently they are trying to fix it, but we will see

But still a profit. Just not as much of profit as last year.

We are making money, but not as much money as I want. SMITHERS! Fire people randomly until I feel better about only making a few billion, instead of a hundred billion.

It’s not late game investors, but short term investors.

I mean I guess it’s both, but short term investors don’t give a fuck about the fundamentals of a company, they care about growth, or at least the illusion of growth above all else.

So you end up with gigantic conglomerates that do everything. Piano makers that sell dirt bikes, movie companies that run theme parks, kettle makers that run the largest financial institutions in the world. It makes no logical sense, but that doesn’t matter…. Line goes up.

A lot of that control is about perceived obedience and perceived productivity.

In many areas you’ll find that ACTUAL productivity matters far less than perceived productivity.

And it’s easier to perceived productivity when you can walk a floor and see people work as you walk by.

All 5 people who use Bing chat are having their chats stored?
