The reliability will drop significantly Your ability to get maps and things while on the road, in fact you won’t be able to receive or make phone calls/texts/anything while travelling at all (by bus, car or bike)

So you end up with gigantic conglomerates that do everything. Piano makers that sell dirt bikes, movie companies that run theme parks, kettle makers that run the largest financial institutions in the world. It makes no logical sense, but that doesn’t matter…. Line goes up.

A lot of that control is about perceived obedience and perceived productivity.

In many areas you’ll find that ACTUAL productivity matters far less than perceived productivity.

And it’s easier to perceived productivity when you can walk a floor and see people work as you walk by.
