I mean, the planet’s dying, but ok. At least we’ve got robots that “excced human performance” in making their overlords profits. Imagine if these scientists were putting their efforts to real use.


I don’t understand why anyone uses one of these,when you can stream anything you want for free on your computer in your web browser.



My city has a program you sign up for to be notified if anyone tries to file paperwork against your property.


They look so fucking stupid I can’t imagine them ever being worth the resources wasted on development.



I tried that, but eventually they just all blended so that now I’ve got three different windows with 50 of the same tabs open. Groups can have labels so that I can see which group is which.




But they’re banning printed books in libraries instead…

Something my instructors could never explain to me is what Turnitin does with the content of papers after they’re scanned. How long are they kept? Are they used for verifying anyone else’s work? I didn’t consent to any of that. When someone runs for office 20 years later are they going to leak old papers? Are they selling that data to other AI trainers? That’s some fucking bullshit. It needs to be out of the classroom for more reasons than just false positives.

I didn’t want any of this shit. IDGAF if we don’t have AI. I’m still not sure the internet actually improved anything, let alone what the benefits of AI are supposed to be.



Same, but tearing down and rebuilding cities is a feature, not a bug. Well, except for the carbon emissions involved in doing that.


How about trains? Americans are too used to their cars for those long-range trips. Make them unnecessary. Build out the infrastructure. Have your car for local trips, switch to trains for anything else.



Fund your libraries, and use them. Librarians (the ones with Masters degrees) are trained to teach you that. Contact the State organizations that oversee that certification to make sure it doesn’t go away in the name of lowering salary costs (i.e., your taxes).



Remember when they promised us advances in technology would mean we would work less while enjoying a life of leisure?
