Just had to do a Chrysler recalls that is a software update and it is a safety issue. The Traction, ABS and stability control would disable itself randomly on the Pacifica. Another one from Chrysler is the defog would not work on the Grand cherokee Hybrids. All of those are software, but also safety issues. Tesla had one where the self driving would kill people.
Hey, at least their research is focusing on serving you ads through HDMI instead of security, so even if you’re not using the Roku, you can still get their ads over HDMI.
I just can’t stand that Dolby Vision & Atmos needs so much HDMI handshake that it slows down. Not all TVs support their stuff through ARC and you can’t use it. I wish more TV used the open source Samsung version, which is almost as good.
There’s a video that the longer the wheelbase of the vehicle the less stringent it has to be on fuel economy. Something about the 2008 or so cafe laws. Lots of older cars without direct injection get better fuel economy than newer ones that are just taller with the same interior capacity.
