Interesting. I’ve personally never had a problem with my arms falling asleep, and this looks like it would force my arms into a weird uncomfortable position, but I’m sure there are some people who would really like this.

Octopath Traveller looks interesting.

I’ve been getting into Metroidvania’s recently. Don’t know how I went 40 years without playing them but here we are. They’re great to play on the Steam Deck.

Yeah I have a game that pause is space, so I mapped one of the back buttons to that and it’s perfect.

Yep, me too. Played it as a teenager in the late 90s. I already backed it as well!

Yes! That was the first time I played any Picross and got me into it!

Talos Principle 2! Loved the first one, am having a blast so far diving in.

Also, PictoPix, a fun little Picross game.

I am super excited about Pacific Drive, so I checked it out. It took some tweaking but it does run…ok. Even with all the settings turned down it still only gets 20/30 FPS. Disappointing.

Thanks, but I don’t own an Xbox console.

[Help] Possible to get PC Xbox games on Steam Deck?
So during one of the Xbox Game Pass promotions I signed up for a few months and ended up buying Forza Horizon 4 on sale. I am trying to find a way to play it on Steam Deck, but so far all I have found is guides on how to use the streaming on the Game Pass to play on Steam Deck, which only works with an active Game Pass sub (in my understanding). Has anyone found a way to get games that you have bought through the Windows Xbox store on Steam Deck? I would love to play FH4 on my Deck!

Still working on The Long Dark story mode, and finishing up Kentucky Route Zero

And not even all desk jobs. My job is supporting a manufacturing client with their imports. Until both them and the courier/shipping lines decide to change to a four day work week, I’m going to need to be ready to field urgent HTS and document requests, even though I work a remote desk job.

[Help] How to update EA App when installed through Non Steam Launchers
So I've got the EA App installed on my Steam Deck via the Non Steam Launchers program. Everything was working great, but now the app wants to update and says it needs to restart. I let it do it's thing, it says it's downloading and applying the update and then it shuts down. When I open it again, it still says it needs to restart. Does anyone know how to update the EA App when you have it installed this way? I've found posts online about how to update it when you have it installed directly, but since I didn't do that those methods don't seem to work.

My use case is being able to play my PC games while laying bed/on the couch, and also have them on vacation when not near my desktop.

Thanks, I’ve seen Lutris mentioned a few times so I’ll have to give it a try. Unfortunately, I can’t do the cloud steaming since I don’t have a game pass, I simply bought FH4 on a sale one time.

[Help] Just got mine, had a few questions
Hey there, my Steam Deck just arrived (after ordering on Friday morning!) and I've been messing around with it but running into some issues and wondering if anyone else has: 1) I got Decky Loader installed, but when I tell it to install plugins it doesn't seem to do anything. 2) I tried using Non Steam Launchers to install EA & Amazon games, and it seems to work (it gives me the success message) but then there is nothing in Steam. I even tried installing the EA App separately using guides online and I even got it installed but then when I try to run the launcher it just says the services were disconnected and refused to do anything. Super frustrating, especially since I just want to play Fallen Order which I only have through my EA account. 3) And finally, has anyone had any success getting their PC Xbox library on the Steam Deck? I got the 'cloud gaming' thing working only to find out that's not what I want to play a game in my library. On the other hand, Heroic Launcher worked great for getting my GOG and Epic games on there! Having a blast with it already. Thanks in advance!

Anti-glare screen impact quality?
Close to pulling the trigger on a Steam deck with this current sale, thinking about the 512GB one but just wondering what the anti-glare screen does to the colors? In some pictures/video it looks dull and washed out, but it’s hard to tell for sure. I don’t plan to play outside and I don’t mind buying an SD card so I’m thinking the 256GB model might be good for me…any thoughts from those with either?
