Headphones because I use hearing aids and thus I can’t use earbuds at the same time. Speakers if there is no one around and/or I’m just tired of headphones.

Hopefully some day the Steam Deck will include Bluetooth LE audio and LC3 codec and then I will be able to stream directly into my hearing aids :)

I don’t know how much improved this remakes will be but I played Suikoden 2 recently and it holds very well. I sometimes got a little lost with side characters or side plots. Hopefully this release will make it easier next time a play it

Oh, didn’t know, it’s pretty cool, the few “optimized” games I’ve played didn’t have it, so I assumed that this was first.

Is “Steam Deck” a preset in the graphic settings selector? If so it is pretty cool, I’ve seen many games claim “optimized for settings “ but unless there is a preset is up to the user to fiddle until it get the optimal settings. This is a cool idea, haven’t seen it before.

I never understood the devotion this game gets. I didn’t liked it much back in the arcade days. It looked uglier and played much worse than many other brawlers at that time.

What’s the point of an official Deck controller if it doesn’t have touchpads?

Hehe, I used to be in the original hardware is the best way to play gang , but i came to appreciate how convenient is the Deck for emulation and the fact that most older games that I play work better on smaller screens, since they have lower resolution, sealed the deal for me. Now I only have the PS4 since it can’t be emulated for now and the 3DS since the 3D effect is so cool.

I sold most of my consoles because of emulation. The 3DS, however, is a keeper. It’s silly but I love the glasses free 3D effect so much and that cannot be achieved via emulation.

So if a car maker releases a car model that randomly turns abruptly to the left for no apparent reason, you simply say “I can’t fix it, deal with it”? No, you pull it out of the market, try to fix it and, if this it is not possible, then you retire the model before it kills anyone.

I still love my high frame rates, but playing with a controller is much more forgiving in that regard and i mostly play games with no camera controls on the Deck so it is perfectly fine.

Wonder if he will be able to afford a 5090 GPU by selling that jacket or would need to pony up some extra.

I Gad the 256GB model and got the base 512 OLED. Screen is much better, those 90hz are sweet, battery lasts roughly 40-50% more and the sticks are much better. But at the end of the day, the games are as much as fun on both systems.

It will be phased out when it is more expensive than any other alternative. Not a single day earlier.

I’m using Heroic Launcher for my Epic/GOG/Amazon games right now. Now that I’ll have to reinstall again when the new OLED Deck arrives, is there a better option or should I keep it.?

HDR OLED is huge for me. I will be upgrading and selling my current Deck to pad the cost. Hopefully scalpers and bots won’t ruin the launch date.
