It’s trained on internet discussions and people on the internet rarely say, “I don’t know”.

Before I even knew I had gonorrhea, Alexa was recommending me penicillin. She also recommended I stay away from the local brothels. And to lay off the whiskey. Also, Alexa is my doctor.

We literally lived for thousands of years without photos. And we’ve lived for 30 years with Photoshop.

They don’t “need” to. There are games that companies refuse to let people run on Linux, so there will be a market for Windows, no matter how shit the experience is.

All cops are bad. They are all participating in a system that torments poor people. A lot of them even like it.

In America, we have collectively decided that we prefer our teachers to be poor and starving, that way our kids stay stupid and can be good little wage slaves.

Yep. Products should never need subscriptions. Only services. Things like Photoshop even, absolutely shouldn’t be subscriptions.

And I don’t want to buy it. Not everything needs to be a subscription.

Hell yeah! I loved this game as a kid. It would be fun to play it again.

Yo this is big. In both that it is momentous, and holy shit that’s a lot of parameters. How many GB is this model?? I’d be able to run it if I had an few extra $10k bills lying around to buy the required hardware.

That’s fine. I don’t want Reddit results anyway.

Immutable, not really a difference. Bad updates can still break the OS.

AB root, however, it would be much easier to fix, but would still be a manual process.

If you mean for gaming, the Dual Sense is awesome. Although gyro control has been broken for months. If you mean for media, the Pepper Jobs W10 Gyro is awesome.

Not an actual retro game, but styled like one. I’ve been playing Psuedoregalia, which is an awesome game. Very fun. I had to print out maps, because the levels are so big.

Half the population would believe the asteroid is a hoax spread by the [insert ethnic or religious group here].

They could, but they won’t.

They could also release a handheld gaming PC that runs Windows under their Surface brand, if they wanted to go that route.

I would never buy an Xbox handheld. Why would you want a handheld that is locked into Microsoft’s ecosystem even more than a Windows handheld? You’ll get maybe ten to fifteen years out of it, then it will become a brick that Microsoft has abandoned. You will never have fond memories of playing on the Xbox handheld that you can recreate with physical hardware. You’ll never get to show your kids what gaming was like on the thing, because the authentication servers were shut off years ago, and now it is a worthless paperweight.

I own physical copies of whatever I can. And I have a Jellyfin server that hosts all my media. Owning it yourself rather than renting it from a corpo is the way to go.

I’d like a smart phone with the latest Android, a great camera, and a color e-ink display. I’ve yet to find one.

Console:

Me:

Haha! I got you!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but a camera is like $200. It sounds like the raises would’ve been shit anyway. Everyone should quit.

Seems like a real good plan to have a well educated and happy workforce. I don’t see at all how policies and systems like this could lead to the downfall of a civilization.

That is not surprising at all. That’s like saying laying off the conspiracy theory conventions for a while reduces your belief in conspiracy theories.

No, low quality carbon fiber didn’t lead to the accident. A blatant disregard for safety, testing, and best practices led to the accident. Low quality carbon fiber just contributed a bit.

Most programmers I know have a SO and make bank. What is this?

It wouldn’t really matter until you get to the brain. Very little of your body’s “processing” happens outside of your brain. Basically all of your consciousness is in there. There are some quick nerve paths that loop through your spine for things like moving your hand away when you touch a hot object, but that’s not really consciousness.

Lol. Another reason to be glad I don’t use Windows as my main OS.
