Using GPT without appearing like an idiot takes a competent grad student

This is something that was going to happen eventually it’s just kind of ironic that it’s a deep red state going for government surveillance like this

It’s significant because it has been otherwise unknown why he was banned off twitch back in 2017 when he was their biggest streamer. Lots and lots of speculations were had and finally the bomb dropped last week as to why

I’ll probably get my kids a dumb phone for school when they get old enough. I want them to have cell service for emergencies of any kind.

Human life dictated by a machine on who to kill. You need to be so fucking cold and evil to be okay with this.

Not only is it heinous it’s also obvious this is just a testing ground for it. Think about it, a testing ground that the test is how many you can kill using AI. We need an amendment to the Geneva convention

Honestly, I’m not surprised considering China has invested a lot into exploiting African resources. China saw a huge market most of the west was ignoring and like we exploited China, China will do the same to Africa.

I wonder if their plan is to keep prices low and compete with Amazon in cloud services? I feel doubtful about it, but it would be interesting to see

“May” just fucking shut it down pussy, maybe give the citizens some justice

Literal steal considering how much content is produced and published there. However, bots training bots will be funny to watch and might lead to some interesting AI detection tech

Does this include art OC posted there being used to train art bots? If I were posting OC art I’d just delete that shit right away, not that it’ll help I suppose

Surely this one won’t make certain communities online screech like part 2 surely

Any nation with a huge influx of cash in the span of a few decades will seemingly catch up fast. The culture of the nation tends to hold them back though

Maybe a few different things, one requires physical effort and skill the other, while impressive tech wise, is relatively easy to use and replicate.

The other reason is probably because it’s easy to abuse as we’ve already seen with other news about “fans of x celebrity get scammed by deepfake”.

And another even if it’s not a scam using their voice for financial gain is really easy. While the one human who could imitate the guy could do this it was 1 versus mostly everyone.

Okay I straight up didn’t know IGN was doing reporting on things other than games now, interesting

Can we get a “biggest union for tech workers” in 2024 too? This layoff abuse bullshit for share holders and fat CEO checks needs to fuck right off

1 billion people in China living in poverty?? I find that almost hard to believe that’s ~66% of their population

Theres no way you’re watching that much television that you need all the major services at once. I usually have one at a time and if I absolutely need to see something else during that time well yar har matey

I don’t want Netflix to even do Netflix anymore. Competition is healthy so if they all merge and there’s only 2 that’ll be bad imo

It’s a lot of money don’t get me wrong but I kind of expected more. Some twitch streamers (mainly softcore porn streamers) get an absolute fuckload from some donors. Talking 50k+ from one person, they’re usually as a joke called oil princes

You know what our body uses as a natural battery sort of thing? Salts! You know what is loaded with salts/electrolytes? Gatoraid! The conclusion is clear

You can directly on it, but a lot of people push links to their own sites. Onlyfans and workout stuff seems to be everywhere

I think that number will grow as Twitter continues to decay. People clinging to the dead corpse is pretty cringe when it comes to Twitter.

Facebook is dead already I feel and most people I know using it are only in there for old people who can’t use anything else or for the marketplace. Under the same umbrella, instagram is dead unless you’re selling something.

Forums like Reddit and lemmy I think will last the longest, but even then when the toxicity grows and transfers over from Reddit to here I probably will stop using it as much

Also I say dead as in what it originally was has been lost in the wake of “influencers” and companies

Unless I’m missing something this seems like a huge fucking overreaction and maybe get this guy some behavioral therapy or whatever. He’s incredibly talented and it would be a damn shame to waste that in a hospital. I’m guessing he’ll get a chance to be released, but some rehabilitation would go a long way and I don’t think his life should waste away in a hospital prison

Unfortunately for them there’s a lot of jobs dedicated to cleaning data so I’m not sure if this would even be effective. Plus there’s an overwhelming amount of data that isn’t “poisoned” so it would just get drowned out if never caught

Sometimes these article titles make me wonder if people push this sort of sensational news so it’s easier for people to dismiss any info they don’t like. “Oh it’s just part of the 100 mil bots”

Wow the value of a life I guess. I don’t really know what can come close to the value of a life, but this doesn’t seem like it.

Sad but not unexpected. It was a special time when E3 rolled around 10 years ago and I’ll remember it mostly fondly

Also wouldn’t resin filled wood framework have a higher environmental impact compared to glass? I’m not entirely sure either way

Drop in the bucket, I’m curious how much it would take to make most of the US/NA traversable by high speed rail

I cancelled my nitro years ago because what exactly is the benefits that I can’t do with being a freeloader? Besides I’m sure they scrape all my data anyways

I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing if people were good, but it can easily be abused as we’ve seen with election manipulation.

For me it’s how they treat their employees. Remember when they got caught taking life insurance policies out on their employees? Shits fucked

I always considered WaPo fairly left leaning so I’m kind of surprised they were advertising at all on X as of late

Straight up don’t give a single fuck what car dealers want. If they could all go out of business I’d be a happier person

Wild that’s exactly what happened to one of my professors. He like to log for a side gig (dunno why) and nearly chopped his leg off with his chainsaw and had to hold his leg together while he hauled ass to the hospital.
